Chemicals in food and in the body - not the best idea



Chemicals exist in ever increasing quantities in our food source. We are exposed to them through the air, in our water, from plants grown in contaminated soil and processed food.

Of all the possible sources, processed food is the most insidious.

We blindly ingest these substances in our meals and snacks with hardly a thought beyond taste and craving, whether it is really good for us or not. What is generally not on the label is:

  • Additives
  • Preservatives
  • Fillers
  • Binders
  • Other Chemicals

No one can dispute that today we are besieged with disorders we never heard of just 50 years ago.

Two that readily come to mind are ADD and ADHD. The list of ailments (many neurologic) is very long and growing. No one seems to be concerned about toxicity accumulation or the mixture of toxins. And since it is coming from so many places, no one is directly responsible or held accountable for the eventual disastrous results.

Without a doubt the impact on our lives has been huge. Something everyone should know is that all toxins by definition are poison. The main variable is how much it will take to ruin an organ, make you ill, or even kill you.

So when someone says that a particular contaminant is toxic, what they are really saying is its poisonous and you should avoid it.

Remember, to the body, many of these substances are foreign and confusing as to what to do with them. These substances will end up in your cell tissues somewhere, and that’s not good.
